The Concord Street Project
The Concord Street Project involved an occupied home and two active short-term rental units, requiring a staging strategy that accommodated both everyday living and an operating Airbnb business. Working closely with the homeowners, we coordinated the project around guest vacancy schedules while preparing the property for sale.
As the homeowners prepared for a major move, we encouraged them to begin packing early to reduce visual clutter and simplify the transition. To ensure the home still felt settled and welcoming, we brought in furniture for the first floor so that they could sell theirs. We styled each space with artwork and décor that created a sense of warmth, permanence, and completeness despite the move already being underway.
The Concord Street Project illustrates how occupied home staging can be adapted to complex living situations. By working around the realities of everyday life rather than disrupting them, we prepared the property for market while allowing the homeowners and their rental business to continue operating successfully.
